Sunday morning worship is a corporate expression of our passion for the supremacy of God. We sense God's leading to develop fresh expressions of this passion that

1) allow for a more focused and free lingering of love in the presence of the Lord;

2) reflect musically the diversity of our congregation and our metropolitan culture; and

3) interweave the values of intense God-centeredness and more personal ministry to each other in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Authentic Worship
02.

We value prayer as our amazing privilege of speaking with the King of the Universe, expressing and developing our intimate family relationship with Him. We value prayer as the source of power and the visible engine for all our efforts.

The Value of Relationships
04.

We will strive to forge a mutually enriching city-wide partnership, in which a significant range of racially, educationally, and economically diverse people feel at home, as they grow in their satisfaction in Jesus Christ.

City-Wide Partnership

VALUE STATEMENTS

We will build strong marriages and families, where God’s Word is taught and lived out, where husbands love their wives as Christ the church, wives respect their husbands, and where the children are led to treasure Christ in all of life.

City-Wide Partnership
05.

Against the rising spirit of indifference, alienation, and hostility in our land, we will embrace the supremacy of God's love to take new steps personally and corporately toward racial reconciliation, expressed visibly in our community and in our church.

Mercy Ministry
06.

We will aim to exposit, or explain and apply, the meaning of the Bible in our preaching. Preaching is also exultation. This means that the preacher does not just explain what’s in the Bible, and the people do not simply try understand what he explains. Rather, the preacher and the people exult over what is in the Bible as it is being

explained and applied.

Expository Exultation
09.

We believe that missions exist because worship doesn’t. Our aim is to align ourselves with God’s purpose of winning worshipers to himself from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation (Revelation 5:9). This can only be done through the Spirit powered proclamation of the gospel to make disciples who live transformed lives of obedience to Christ (Matthew 28:18–20, Luke 24:47).

Mission Mobilization
10.

This list is not arranged in order of importance

(These values are patterned from our parent Network Church, Bethlehem Baptist Church)

We will develop new strategies for proclaiming the all-satisfying supremacy of God's love and justice to the poor through 1) personal involvement; 2) a more welcoming atmosphere; 3) local missionary strategies of urban disciple making;

and 4) equipping missionaries for unreached urban peoples.

Good News to the Poor
07.

We will challenge our culture and the wider Christian movement in fresh ways with the biblical truth of God's all-satisfying supremacy, by courageous Christian action and speech in the secular world.
