The Gospel changes everything. It is “the power of God” (Romans 1:16) that changes the unbelievers as well as the believers unto the likeness of Christ. We are committed into bringing everything we do into line with the Gospel as the solution not only for our spiritual problems but all societal problems. We will teach to love and respect the city and make a significant influence for its good. We will challenge professionals to use their resources to meet the needs of the city through mercy ministries and community groups.
The Gospel produces cultural renewal beginning in the work-place. All of our work matters to God. “Secular” work is a valuable and God-honoring as Christian ministry. God matters to all of our vocations. This means the Gospel enables Christians to work in their vocations both with excellence and distinctiveness in such a way that can impact the culture which we are a part of from the inside out.
The Gospel breaks down all barriers (ethnic, socio-economic and gender) and makes us partakers of the grace of God. (Galatians 3:28) Therefore, we will build a community that does not only speak the Gospel but living it through hospitality and deeds
of love and kindness.
The Gospel gets at the root of social problems. Sin causes social brokenness and classes that are hostile to one another. However, the Gospel makes us humble which leads to racial harmony through the power of Christ’s sacrifice. We aim in the power of the Gospel to free us from envy and pride, inferiority and superiority and to love and serve one another with a sincere heart.
